It is best to start looking for gowns 3-4 months prior to your wedding date. That allows you enough time to narrow down your selection and order the gown of your dreams. Don’t let the time bracket worry you, because even if you do not have that much time, we offer a wide collection of off the rack gowns that more than 50% of our brides choose from. For brides wanting a specific style gown, you have the option to work with our Bridal consultants to create your own unique design as per your preferences and requirements. However, do keep in mind that such dresses take anywhere from 45 days to 2 months before it is ready for first fitting.
To help our Bridal Consultants better understand your personal taste and preferences, it is best to bring along or Whatsapp us ahead the inspiration pictures you may have collected from magazines or websites. During your bridal appointment, do let our consultants know your wedding theme, venue and any other details which may seem critical in deciding the style of gown that you should choose.
Take your mom and/or one or two trusted friends or relatives at most. This is YOUR decision, and you need to be able to listen to your own instincts about what dress makes you feel special. It’s easier to listen to your head and your heart if you don’t have a crowd with you.
Our bridal consultants will help you understand the different silhouettes and make suggestions based on your body type. Please come with an open mind. What you liked in pictures may be different from what actually suits your physique and body type. Also take note that how a dress fits on a photoshop-ed professional model will be different from how it looks on you. Every bride is unique, what looks good on your friend may not be what suits you best. For brides choosing off the rack gowns, we will combine your first fitting with the appointment where you confirm your wedding gown. As for brides choosing to have their dress custom made, we will call you as soon as your dress is ready for trial. For custom dresses, we make the dress as close to your current size as possible, but all bridal gowns need alterations to give it a perfect fit for your wedding day. You usually need 2 or 3 fittings, to perfect the gown. Outstation brides need to take note and plan ahead so that we have sufficient time for bridal fittings. Once the fit is perfected, your dream dress will be steam pressed and packed for you to take home.
Absolutely! We at D’Aisle will be more than happy to offer you the complete wedding package. Since most brides have different colour themes and colour preferences, we tend to mostly custom make such dresses. So plan ahead and give yourself sufficient time so that the bride is not stressing out over bridesmaids’ dresses in the days just prior to the wedding.
Sorry we don’t. Each designer and bridal store uses different fabrics and laces to make these wedding dresses. The laces we use for our wedding gowns will differ from what is used in the dresses you may have purchased elsewhere. Hence we undertake alterations of only in house wedding gowns and evening dresses.
